It’s ONLY a START
At noon (est) the collective breath of this world was partially held as a man, “NOT LIKE the OTHER ONES”, will accept his new place in HISTORY as PRESIDENT of THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA. As the CONSTITUTIONAL RULE gives a clear path of what must be done TODAY, Barack Hussein Obama will become “Mr. President”to EVERY citizen of the WORLD, not ‘JUST’ to “WE, the People of THESE United States…”.
Since Harriet Tubman’s leading many to “DRINK” from a far away “LADLE” the health rich brew called FREEDOM… Through “STOLEN” African citizens’ learning, then TEACHING, to read and write by the small lights of a candle or the fireplace… For every sad harvest of “STRANGE FRUIT” that was forced on Africa’s permanently “INDENTURED”… This IS the day that could be likened to JOSEPH greeting HIS family as a “Ghost/ Savior”. BUT, it is ONLY the first tentative step of a “SON of GENIUS” who is the first of his line to EMBRACE his NATION as its GUIDING hand.
With a world that is “ONE GRAIN of SAND” from falling OFF the UNIVERSE, and moving into a home that has been suffering from far too many types of VERMIN that have, and ARE, still ensconced in the walls and FOUNDATION(S).Think of TODAY as a new national/political version of “THIS OLD HOUSE”. The only difference is that everyone in, and of, this moment is to be on the CREW that assists the RESTORATION of , the [\"Rebirtth of a NOTION\"], of why we are the United States of AMERICA.
The only WANT/”WISH”/ HOPE I have for TODAY is that ‘EVIL’ has been confused enough that THIS NATION can take its first clear breath in a while then set its feet firmly in a better set of “starting blocks”. For a “RACE” that WE are ALL part of… the HUMAN ONE.

At the start, in the original CONSTITUTION, “I” was ONLY THREE-FIFTHS of a ‘WHITE’ MAN NOW “I”AM “HIS PRESIDENT”.
The only problem I, and three-quarters of the WORLD had with Rick Warren’s prayer IS that he purposely Ignored ALLAH’S mention thus denying , as the BIBLE says ‘HIS’ MANY NAMES. (A sad AND significant OMISSION to the SON OF a MUSLIM FATHER.) Whereas the Benediction given by the Reverend Joseph Lowery included “ALL GOD’S CHILDREN” as Rick Warren would NOT.
As a final thought: My Grandmother and Grandfather sat with me to watch an Ohio ‘farm-boy’ “…Take a small step for MAN”… in the year of 1969. My Grandmother had told us of where she was when the Wrights skipped across Kitty Hawk’s beach front, telling us… “that if God had wanted man to go to the Moon he’d have given Man wings”…, just days before. She held her head in prayer that moment. Esther and Verdrie would have held each other TODAY. And my SLAVE-born GREAT-Grandmother would have SMILED … IN VICTORY.
