Parable VS Analogy Equals TRUTH
It’s somewhat ironic. This is the first time that there hasn’t been a lot of fanfare for this moment called “BLACK HISTORY MONTH”. In a way, that’s a “good” thing, the un-civilities are mearly a cordiality.
The photos beginning your jaunt is of how most see OUR history, as it was presented to us at school,or the dinner table.The ‘relivings’ by an Uncle, Grandfather/ Grand MOTHER are the witnessing by the location they were AT… Or “CAME FROM”. These “snippets” ARE those jagged shards of flesh torn from a friend as they passed to pick up a child’s toy in Sorbonne… held out their arms to a child burnt by Napalm…

The stories are what they are. The “STORY TELLER” is the the one that embelishes or just “gives-the-facts-Ma’am”. Others WON’T tell what they’ve seen.
During the NAACP Awards Friday evening 02/17/2012 the VANGUARD AWARD was ‘greatfuly’ presented to GEORGE LUCAS, who AGAIN gave the public a “STORY” with outstanding “aerial” displays of people fighting for their FREEDOMS. The generation of today needs the missing pieces of the puzzle that answers the angry question of ” just what the hell DID Black Folks DO FOR THIS COUNTRY !?!” And, in such a manner that is quite indisputable for rebuttle. Lucas’ “REDTAILS” is a second view of the obliteration of “WHAT” the Nation’s Non-European heritaged population COULD “DO” for THEIR Country. And with the fierce beauty of an AILEY rehersal. The shortest of lists is that the 332nd “NEVER LOST ANY of WHO they were escorting”. “NEVER” !!! There were NO “ACES” for all the victories registered.
This Month is only the luminaire for what HAS happened “BY” and “TO” the few that DID make a difference for the WHO, WHAT, WHY and HOW “WE” are.
